I have gone to great lengths to replace my light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs because they are supposed to be efficient and will lessen my footprint.
I have also been told that they are not so good for the environment because of something that has to do with mercury and landfills. Nevertheless, doing so makes me feel good--like giving to charity and drinking.
Also, I wanted a prospective purchaser of my house to think the house is green.
Accordingly, I spent fifteen hours in my car aimlessly driving around town, while buyers looked at my house this weekend.
